Policies

Tuition:

· Tuition payments are due by the 1st of the month.

· Payments are considered late after the 7th day of each month.  Late fees will accrue each week thereafter.

1st week late= $20.00

2ndweek late= $30.00

If tuition is not paid by the third week of the month, then your child will not be able to take class or attend any performances until the balance is paid in full and up to date.

· Returned check fees are $25.00.

· Tuition will not be prorated for holidays or breaks. The amount already has all of that factored in and is broken down into monthly payments. 

· IF your child is absent from class, you are still responsible for full monthly tuition. 

· IF tuition is paid by debit/credit card then it MUST be on AUTO DRAFT! 

· We do not take tuition payments over the phone.

· All tuition and fees paid are non-refundable.

All fees (excluding tuition) have been totaled and are to be paid within the first two months of the season.

Business Hours:

Mondays 4:00-9:00

Tuesdays 4:00-9:00

Thursdays 4:00-9:00

· All studio calls must be made between 9-4 Mon-Fri. (910)233-4094.

· Dress Code:

Dancers: 

· All dancers must be in conservative dance attire (no midriffs, two- piece outfits or lowcut tops allowed.) Leotard, tights, proper shoes, hair secured out of the face, and dance shorts/skirts are permitted. 

· Cover-ups must be worn while entering/exiting the building. 

· No Jeans or Dresses!

· Students MUST wear the proper shoes for each class. 

· Shoes must be purchased by the third week of class. 

Gymnasts: 

· No loose clothing.

· Leggings, tank tops, shorts and gymnastics leotards are acceptable (no midriffs, two-piece outfits or lowcut tops allowed.)

· Hair MUST be up at all times. 

· No Jeans or Dresses!!

Studio Calendar:

· We are closed the week of Thanksgiving and three weeks in December-January.

· We are closed for Labor Day and one week for Spring Break.

· Our Dance Recital is on Saturday, May the 21st. (Time TBD)

· Our Gymnastics Meet is on Friday, May the 20th. (Time TBD)

Attendance:

· This is a 10-month commitment, and it is important that your child attends class regularly. 

· Make-up classes will only be available if classes are cancelled due to a teachers’ absence.

· Classes WILL NOT be made up if there is inclement weather. 

· It is important for your child to arrive PREPARED at their class time. 

Pick-Up and Drop-Off:

· Curbside drop-off/pick-up is PROHIBITED!!

· Promptly pick up your child once their class is over. 

· We have back-to-back classes, so we cannot be held responsible for your child after their class time. 

· Come to your childs class for drop-off and pick-up at the scheduled class time. 

· If your child is not picked-up/dropped-off in a timely manner, then you will charged for another class session. 

Disciplinary Action:

· BDC&G has the right to dismiss any student from class/classes for any reason. 

· No disrespectful or rude behavior will be tolerated at any time. 

**Any physical abuse towards a teacher, assistant or other student will result in IMMEDIATE dismissal. **

· IF there are behavior issues then the child will be asked to leave the classroom. The teacher will make the parents aware of the situation.

· Cell phone usage is not permitted in class. 

· Bullying is NOT tolerated. 

Quitting Classes:

· We require a 30-day notice to drop any classes. 

· If you fail to give a notice you are still required to pay for the final full month of tuition. 

Media Waiver:

· BDC&G has the right to use any pictures or video of students/parents/families for advertising and social media purposes.

Medical Liability:

· While at BDC&G and on the property of BDC&G you are doing dance and gymnastics, entering at your own risk. 

· BDC&G is not responsible for any injuries obtained while under instruction or on the property.
